Karin Weiner



Karin Weiner (TD ’93) is the Secretary of yale.NYC. She has been on the Board of yale.NYC for a number of years initially serving as a Co-Chair of the Public Service & Social Justice Committee, the Educational Programs Committee and the Juvenile Justice Reform Task Force (which received the Community Builder Award from the New Jersey Institute for Social Justice and the Outstanding Innovation Award from the AYA) before becoming an officer of YAANY.


Ms. Weiner is partner at a corporate boutique law firm, Tjong & Hsia LLP, where she regularly represents investors, financial institutions, foundations, entrepreneurs and companies in corporate and corporate finance transactions including debt financings, private equity investments and social impact investments.  Ms. Weiner’s current initiatives for yale.NYC include a collaboration with the My Luu Memorial Fund and a collaboration with DKMS (Delete Blood Cancer).

We serve a community of over 17,000 Yale alumni in the NY Metro Area and Long Island - the largest base of Yale alumni in the world!
