Hidden down a hallway on the 8th floor of Macy’s is DeGustibus — a cooking school like no other, whose studio kitchen/dining room is lined with photos of all the world-famous chefs who have taught there. Our friend and host Sal Rizzo will welcome you like a guest in his home, with a glass of Franciacorta - the Italian sparkling wine. Sal has created a special event just for us — bringing in Mario Batali and Lydia Bastianich’s beverage guy, and the VP of Calvisius, Italy’s sustainable caviar provider. Together, they’ll give us an insider’s appreciation for these little known luxury foods. The wine will flow, the caviar will be scooped, and new friends will be made.
